Feeling Stressed or Anxious?

I designed and coded a website that I could look at when I am feeling stressed or anxious. I wanted to use blue colors because blue is known as a calming color, and that is the main feeling I want people to feel after going through my site. I decided to display a single page at a time instead of a scroll so the reader is less overwhelmed by the information provided, and is able to focus on each step individually. I chose information that I have learned, that has helped me and could help other people.

Step 1
First, I wanted to include information about the difference between stress and anxiety, which can be confusing to understand at times.
Step 2
The first step I included is a 5 second breathing exercise with an SVG animation that people can use to help the timing.
Step 3
The next page is a grounding technique that includes naming 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste.
Step 4
Then I have a page about ice and cold temperatures, and how they help take your mind off of what is bothering you for a minute, so that you can come back to it with a fresh, clear mind.
Step 5
Next, I have a list of things you can do to distract yourself and self care ideas.
Step 6
I have a page about talking to someone and reaching out about how you are feeling because it always feels better when you talk to someone.
Step 7
Finally, I have a page about how if this does not work there are so many other things you can try because what works for someone else might not work for you.
