About
I designed a few screens for a car display’s operating system in light mode and dark mode. Those screens include a dashboard with split screen, maps, and music.

The Dashboard

One of the main things I wanted to consider was distracted driving. Making sure everyone is safe while using this platform is very important. I wanted to make sure that the screen was not too distracting, everything was clear and the buttons were big enough to not miss while driving. The dashboard includes a split screen of maps and music.

Top Navigation

The navigation is on the top for more horizontal display. The top nav includes the time and the connected phone’s info in the left. Then on the right of the top nav is the previously used apps and a button to get to all the apps available.

Maps

When you open the maps page, you are greeted with a map of where you are currently and the option to go home, to work, or to search a location.

Music

With the music page, in the car that I currently own the song info is so small and the background is chaotic. I wanted to make sure that the song info is big and the background is simple.
